ODE TO TIME

The present fails to hear

the cries of the past

As the future is waiting

its shadow to cast

The fears of today

reflecting on tomorrow

They are born yesterday

and bring only sorrow

Time we cannot stop

life is but time

Steep is the hill

we shall all climb...
